Mineline^® MDWS Dry Wipe

Many times the belt cleaners on a beltline do a good job of taking off the carryback materials. However, after the last cleaner, there is still water on the belt; and that can still cause a big mess along the beltline. The Mineline^® MDWS Secondary Belt Cleaner is designed to be the last cleaner in a cleaning system and wipe the belt dry.

A specially formulated ConShear™ DW Blade uses a pliable urethane to conform to the belt and squeegee the water off. The DW Blade is designed to be 4" (100mm) wider than the belt width on the conveyor to insure the water is moved off the belt even if the belt is mistracking. The MDWS takes the water off and dumps it in the transfer area. No mess, no standing water to deal with.

The MDWS works with mechanical splices. The polyurethane blade easily glides over the mechanical splices and the spring tensioners dampen any impact allowing the splices to pass without damage to the blade or the splice and with minimal cleaning disruption.

Plus, it's easy to install and requires almost no maintenance. A unique spring tensioner automatically adjusts the blade to the belt as it wears. The Mineline Dry Wipe Secondary Cleaner (MDWS) is the final step to a good clean, dry beltline.
