Increase Productivity, Improve Versatility, Create Solutions

Utilizing mechanical cleats and guides provides many benefits and solves specific problems. For example, mechanical cleats can allow you to increase the incline of your conveyor, prevent material rollback, increase running speed, or provide a special sorting solution. And unlike chemical and heat welded cleats, mechanical cleats can be installed directly on the conveyor using simple hand tools (screw driver, belt punch). In addition, expensive equipment is not needed and there are no 'shelf life' concerns with chemicals.

Simple and Versatile Problem Solvers
In addition to being easy to install, mechanical cleats and guides offer other benefits, such as:
• Low Maintenance: Missing, worn, or broken cleats can easily be replaced on existing cleated belts, helping to eliminate costly conveyor downtime.
• Versatile: Modify existing belts by changing spacing or placement of cleats to meet your specific requirements. Apply to any type of belt (PVC, rubber, urethane, even chain or plastic link belts) for improved operating efficiency.
• Unique: Mechanical cleats come in a variety of styles to fit your specific conveyor needs. For example, pegs and lugs provide a unique solution when a full belt width cleat is not required, such as if the material being conveyed has liquid that needs to run off or if specialized sorting is desired.

Model L Cleat
Model L cleats are ideal for light-duty applications such as food processing, industrial conveyors, parts handling and harvesting equipment. Produced from nitrile, the cleat offers a long life, high tensile rubber with superior resistance to the deteriorating effects of oils, heat, acids and weathering. Available in five heights from 5/8" (16mm) to 3" (75mm).
Model HD Cleat
Model HD is a heavy-duty cleat, engineered to stand up to abrasive, high-impact applications such as mining, agriculture, construction, scrap, trash-burning and material handling. Model HD cleats are manufactured from an abrasion-resistant SBR compound for added durability. The high tensile strength and flexibility of this cleat allows it to be used in troughing conveyors or in applications employing horseshoe, chevron or crescent cleat patterns. Available in 1" (25 mm) or 2" (50 mm) heights.
Econo-Cleat®
Econo-Cleat® is an economical cleat option for a wide variety of material conveying. Available in a choice of application-matched materials: choose specially compounded, high-durability EPDM rubber for excellent resistance to abrasion and the effects of weather; or select PVC for less demanding applications. Available in five heights from 1-1/4" (31 mm) to 6" (150 mm).
Tatch-A-Lug® and Tatch-A-Peg™When full belt width cleats are not required, intermittently spaced lugs or pegs can be an inexpensive, yet effective solution. Pegs and Lugs can be installed in any pattern to avoid rollback or to fit your customized sorting requirements. Non-marking, FDAapproved, isoprene lugs are available in 1-1/2" (38 mm) and 2" (50 mm) heights. Pegs are available in 2" (50 mm) and 3" (75 mm) heights.
Tatch-A-Guide®
Easy-to-install, v-shaped rubber guides help keep belts centered over split or grooved pulleys. Attached firmly to the underside of the belt using only a belt punch and screwdriver, Tatch-A-Guide® is a simple way to solve belt-tracking problems. Intermittent spacing and notched design provide easy flexing over pulleys. Available in standard A, B, and C V-guide sizes.
